On Saturday August 8, 2020, Mrs. Abhirami Easwara Narthana, of Belle Mead, New Jersey, peacefully departed this world after a short period of illness.
She is the beloved wife of Subramaniam Easwara Narthana,
Loving mother of Suban and Amuthan,
Daughter of Dr. Jeremiah and Mrs. Ratnadevi Sithamparanathan (Auckland, New Zealand),
Daughter-in-law of late Mr. Arunasalam and late Mrs. Kuganeswary Subramaniam of Urumpirai, Sri Lanka,
Granddaughter of late Dr. Rajenthiram and late Mrs. Sivakami Jeremiah, and late Mr. Thambiappa and late Mrs. Parasakthy Selvaretnem, both families from Iyanarkoviladdy, Vannarponnai, Jaffna, Sri Lanka.
Abhirami is the sister of Dr. Kalyani (Melbourne, Australia), Ranjani (Darwin, Australia) and Kumaran (Auckland, New Zealand),
Sister-in-law of Muruganantham (Melbourne), Nagendra (Darwin) and Kayathri (Auckland).
Through her marriage, she is the sister-in-law of Dr. Khanthan (USA), Haran (USA), Dr. Gowri Nadaraja(USA), Rupan (UK), Janani Sivaloganathan(UK) and Ramanan (USA).
She is also the niece of late Mrs. Sathiabaladevi Navaratnam, Mrs. Sarojadevi Kanesathasan (USA), Mr. Selvaretnem Raghavan (Sri Lanka), Mrs. Sivapackiam Pasupathy (New Zealand), late Mrs. Sitadevi Gangatharan, late Mr. Jeremiah Pathmanathan, late Mrs. Kamaladevi Shanmugarajan and Mr. Jeremiah Viswanathan (Sri Lanka).
Abhirami was born on September 21, 1960 in Aberystwyth, Wales, UK., and lived in Sri Lanka and New Zealand before settling in the USA.
Due to the current health restrictions in New Jersey (USA), the grieving family has planned a private funeral for Abhirami at 9 am Eastern Standard Time (USA) on Thursday, August 13, 2020.
