Mrs. Ahila Thumakanthan, who lived in Jaffna and Wellawatte, Colombo, passed away peacefully in Colombo, and was embraced by God on Thursday, 08 July 2021.
She is the beloved eldest daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Satkunanathan and Rajeswary,
Loving daughter in law of the late Mr. and Mrs. Thuraisamy and Kanmani of Navalar Road, Jaffna,
Beloved wife of Mr. Thumakanthan,
Ever Loving mother of Kantharuban and Dwaragan, both of Sri Jayawardenapura University,
Kind and Loving sister of Amalan (Colombo), Anulan (Australia), Amirtha (Canada) and Anjala (London),
Loving sister in law of Bavani and Vasuki,
Also, the loving sister in law of the late Gajendran and also of Jeyaprakash,
Caring aunty (Mami) of Vithuran and Virushika,
Cherished aunty (Periyammah) of Sanjith, Ragavi, Januja, Anuja and Janan.
Her funeral and final rites functions will be conducted on Saturday, 10 July 2021 at from 09:00 AM at the Mahinda Parlour, followed by Cremation at the Galkissa General Cemetery.
