Mr. Ambalam Gnanathurai, who was born in Inuvil West, Jaffna, and lived in Inuvil, Auckland, New Zealand, and later in Sydney, Australia, passed away peacefully and was embraced by God on Saturday, 27 November 2021.
He is the beloved youngest son of the late Ambalam (Ambalavanar) and Kunchipillai,
Loving eldest son in law of Aiyathurai and Ponnammah,
Beloved husband of the late Indrany,
Ever loving father of Arunthayaparan (deceased) (New Zealand), Thayananthy - Thirunandakumar, Kirubananthi -Kantharajah, Kalaichelvi -Uthayakumaran, Vivekananthy - Kanthakumaran and Mayurananthy -Suresh,
Loving maternal uncle of Thiruchelvakumari -Jananayagam (Nanda), Thirunanthakumar,
Thirunanthagunalan (deceased) and Thirukugasakthy -Arunachalam,
Caring uncle (Chiththappah) of the late Vathsala and Senthilkumar, and also of Kulamathy Kalatharan,
Loving uncle (Mama) of Geetha -Arunthayaparan, Kantharajah, Uthayakumaran, Kanthakumaran, Suresh, Mithula -Baheerathan, Mirunan and Nithila -Ravichandran,
Kind and Loving younger brother of the late Subramaniam, Kanapathipillai and Pavalaratnam
Thirunavukarasu,
Loving brother in law of Balachandran, Latharani and Ravichandran,
Also, the loving brother in law (Sahalan) of the late Sivesvarathamby and Chithra Ravichandran,
