Mr. Ambalavanar Yogendran, who was born in Navindil, Karanavai North, Jaffna, and lived in Wellawatte, Colombo, passed away peacefully and was embraced by God on Sunday, 20 June 2021.
He is the beloved son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Ambalavanar and Annammah,
Loving son in law of the late Mr. and Mrs. Kandasamy and Atchimuthu,
Beloved husband of Parameswary (Retired Stenographer),
Ever loving father of Meera (UK), Suja (Physician), Prakash (USA) and Prashana (Physician),
Loving father in law of Sivakumar (UK), Parimalendran (Consultant Physician), Gayathri (USA)
and Rithanjana (Physician),
Affectionate grandfather of Abhina, Vithun, Shivathmika, Vanshika, Dykshika, Abhishika,
Ashmitha and Harini,
Kind and Loving brother of Yogambogai (USA), Rasambigai (Australia) and Punithambigai (Australia),
Loving brother in law of Rasiah, the late Balakrishnan and Indrakanthan.
His remains will lie in state for paying tributes at the Mahinda Parlour on Wednesday, 23 June 2021, from 09:00 AM to 06:00 PM, followed by funeral and final rites functions conducted with family members only on Thursday, 24 June 2021 with Cremation following the functions.
