Mr. Appathurai Balasubramaniam, who was born in Singapore, and lived in Urumpirai, Jaffna, and later in Kokkedel, Denmark, passed away peacefully and was embraced by God on Friday, 02 April 2021.
He is the beloved youngest son of the late Mr. Appathurai and Mrs. Thangarathinam,
Loving eldest son in law of the late Mr. Ponnuthurai, and of Mrs. Mangayarkarasi,
Beloved husband of Jegadevi,
Ever loving father of Ramanan and Mayuran,
Loving father in law of Mythili and Subhajini,
Kind and loving brother of the late Leelavathi, and also of Thurairatnam,
Loving brother in law of the late Sivagnanaparagasam, and also of Pushparani,
Loving brother in law (Atthan) of Sarojini, Kuberan, Kamaladevi (deceased), Amuthagowri, Vijalakshmi, Nakeeran and Kugavathy,
Also the loving brother in law (Sahalan) of Manoharan, Yamunadevi, Sasigeethan, Mohanathas
(deceased), Thurairajah, Nirmala and Saravanabavan,
Loving uncle (Periyappah) of Rohani,
Caring uncle (Mama) Thamarani,
Also the loving uncle (Periyappah) of Muarli, Sutha, Kalyani, Nilan, Gopi, Prasanna, Thanusha,
Sangeethan and Elil,
Also the loving uncle (Mama) of Geethanjali, Anjali, Nilanthi and Nithika,
