Mrs. Ariyamalar Navaratnam, who was born in Varuthalaivilan (Thenkiran) Thellipalai, Jaffna, and lived in Temple Road, Jaffna, passed away peacefully at her home, and was embraced by God on Thursday, 15 July 2021.
She is the beloved daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Suppiah and Thaiyalnayaki,
Loving daughter in law of the late Mr. and Mrs. Kandiah and Ilaiyapillai,
Beloved wife of the late Mr. Kandiah Navaratnam (Owner; Navaratnam Stores, Jaffna Railway Station Junction),
Kind and Loving sister of Selvanayaki Kandiah, Sivagnanavathy Sivaguru, Annapackiyam Thuraiyappah, Annakumaralingam, Saraswathydevi Thillaiyampalam. Kugagnanavathy Sarvananthan and Rasamalar Vanniyasuriar,
Ever loving mother of Kamalatharan (England), Balasingam (Point Pedro), Amirthagowri (Trincomalee), Kamalavasan (Canada), Kamalathasan (England), Ketharagowri (Jaffna) and Kamalasri (England),
Loving mother in law of Jeyagowri, Kamalini, Thirunavukarasu, Gomathy, Tara Chandrika, Velupillai and Sujitha,
Affectionate grandmother of Dr. Kejan, Mathumai, Sanjeevan, Dr. Priyakala, Keerthana, Naveenan, Vasumathy, Sajenthan, Mathumathi and Harikshan,
Dearly loving great grandmother of Vasutha, Akshaya, Tharaneesh, Athiran and Anica.
Her funeral and final rites functions will be conducted at her residence on Friday, 16 July 2021,followed by cremation at the Chemmani Cemetery.
