Mr. Balachandran Subramaniam, who was born in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and lived in Karungkali, Karainagar, Jaffna and Kotahena, Colombo passed away peacefully and was embraced by God on Friday, 04 April 2022.
He is the beloved husband of Maheswary (Retired Teacher).
Ever loving father of Satsorupavathy, Yogeswaran, Indra, Mohana and Kanaganithi.
Loving father in law of Subamuraliatharan, Vanathy, Nadeswaran, Maheswaran and Athisivam.
Affectionate grandfather of Duwaragan, Abhiram, Arani, Arathi, Divya, Mathavan, Mayuran, Mehta, Mayone, Harishma, Reshma and Arunsivam.
Kind and loving brother of Sivasothy and the late Thiyagarajah (Gampaha).
His remains will lie in state for paying tributes at the Jayaratne Funeral Parlor at around 08:30 AM on Saturday, 08 April 2022, with funeral and final rites functions conducted at 07:00 AM on Sunday, 10 April 2022, followed by cremation at the Borella Cemetery.
