Mr. Bastiampillai John Arulnayagam, who was born in Karampon, Sri Lanka and lived in Scarborough, Canada passed away on Sunday, 13th of June 2021 at the age of 93.
B. J. Arulnayagam was born on March 23rd 1928 to Johnpillai Bastiampillai and Mary Josephine.
Mr. Arulnayagam was an old student of St. Anthony's College, Kayts, Jaffna. He had a successful career as an S.R.D.A (Senior Rural Development Assistant) in the Northern Province of Sri Lanka.
He is survived by his loving wife Maria Philomina Jeyamani (Jeyam).
Ever loving father of Marina (Raji) Swampillai, Jasmine (Jayanthi) Ponniah, and Shanthi Pius.
Loving father in law of Herman (Raje) Swampillai, Bobby Ponniah, Antony (Tony) Pius.
Affectionate grandfather of Chrishanthy (Mandalin), Ashika (Melanie), Johnny, Junior (Anthony), Michelle, Ryan (Joseph),
Loving great grandfather of Sudarkavi, Ilakiya, Aaria, and Jaxon.
Kind and loving brother of Late Victorine Stanislaus, B. Marianayagam, Victarose Rajesvari Christy, Regina Henry, late Peter Paul, and Amaladevi Jesuthasan.
Loving brother in law of late Stanislaus, late Christy, late Emma Gertrude Marianayagam, late Henry, Manohary, and Jesuthasan.
Loving son in law of Mr. & Mrs. Ruby Joseph Manuavapillai.
Brother in law of late Christy, late Anton, late Elizabeth(Nesam), late Francis, Lidiya(Mani), Charlie, Karuna, Rukumani, late Thevarajah, Edwin, Sylvix, Mathuram, Emilianus, Ceron, Puvaneshwaran, Jeevam, Alagarajah Varathan and Maurine.
