Mrs. Bavani Thillainesan, who was bornin Palaly Road, Thirunelvely, Jaffna, and lived in Wellawatte, Colombo passed away in Colombo and was embraced by God on Saturday, 12 February 2022.
She is the beloved eldest daughter of the late Suppiah Balasubramaniam and Kamaladevi Balasubramaniam (Suppiah & Sons).
Loving daughter in law of Mr. and Mrs. Thillaiampalam.
Beloved wife of the late Thillainesan (Accountant).
Kind and loving sister of Shyamala (London), Baheerathan (deceased), Varatharajan (London) and Varathalakshmi (London).
Loving sister in law of Thillainadarajah, the late Subathirai and Kanagasironmani, and also of Rajanavanathan, Kalaimagal, Dhushyanthi and Balachandran.
Loving aunty (Periyammah) of Shankari, Priyankan and Shivani.
Caring aunty (Mami) Thasarathan, Giritharini, Vithushan, Saiahi, Robert, Prasanna, Anushan and Roshan.
Affectionate grandmother of Ehan, Athavan and Atheeshan.
Her remains will lie in state for Viewing at the Mahinda Funeral Directors, Galle Road, Amount Lavinia, Colombo, from around 08:00 AM on Wednesday, 16 February 2022 followed by funeral rites functions conducted and the cremation taking place at around 02:00 PM.
