A Distinguished Patrician – SPC 1991 A/L Batch
Dear Esteemed Patricians,
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. C.M.D. Manoharan, a distinguished Patrician and a proud member of the SPC 1991 A/L Batch.
Manoharan was an exceptional student and the top student of his highly competitive batch at St. Patrick’s College. His outstanding academic performance earned him numerous awards, medals, and honours, including a Gold Medal, reflecting his remarkable dedication and pursuit of excellence.
He continued this tradition of excellence at university, where he pursued Engineering and achieved outstanding results. After moving to Canada, he built a successful professional career and served the City of Toronto as a Project Manager, earning the respect of his colleagues through his professionalism, integrity, dedication, and commitment to excellence.
Beyond his academic and professional achievements, however, Manoharan will be remembered most for the person he was. He was quiet, humble, gentle, and dignified—a true gentleman who never sought recognition or attention. His kindness, sincerity, and calm presence left a lasting impression on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
He remained closely connected to his Alma Mater and the Patrician family, actively participating in JSPCAA Ontario events and cherishing the friendships and bonds formed during his years at St. Patrick’s College. His continued involvement reflected his deep affection for his school and fellow Patricians.
Manoharan was truly a great soul—a man whose life reflected achievement, humility, integrity, friendship, and quiet strength. His passing is a great loss to his family, friends, colleagues, and the entire Patrician community.
While we mourn his passing, we are grateful for the privilege of having known such a remarkable person. May his gentle soul rest in eternal peace, and may his memory forever remain a blessing to all who knew him.
