Mr. Chellappah Shanmugalingam, who was born in Velanai East, Jaffna, and lived in Maniarpathy Road, Kokuvil West, Jaffna, passed away peacefully and was embraced by God on Friday, 26 February 2021.
He is the beloved son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Chellappah and Nageswary,
Loving son in law of the late Mr. and Mrs. Vijayaratnam and Selvarathinam,
Beloved husband of Selvanayagi,
Ever loving father of Renuka, Chithra and Mayuran, all living in France,
Kind and Loving brother of Shanmuganthan (Canada), Shanmugaratnam (Germany), Neelambigai (deceased), Shanmugabavananthan (Canada) and Thevarani (Sri Lanka),
Loving brother in law of the late Nagarajah and Arunthathinayagi,and also of Yogarani and Jeevanayagi,
Loving father in law of Rajmohan, Priyadharshan and Kanaga,
Also the loving brother in law (Sammanthy) of Rajakulendran Selvarani (France), Tharmarajah
Uthayarani and Sritharan Saroyini (France),
Kind brother in law of Yogarani Ratneswary, Ratnajothi and Sanjeevilingam,
Caring uncle (Periyappah) of Jeyapalan, Ragavan, Kowshalya, Ilangkumaran, Shanmugathasan,
Shanmuganesan Rajani, Shanmugaeasan, Rajini, Sabesan, Sanjeevan and Saravanan,
Loving maternal uncle of the late Thurga, Jenarthan and Dwaraga,
Affectionate grandfather of Lakshiya, Akash, Harish, Thanuksha and Ayushan,
His funeral and final rites functions will be conducted at his residence on Sunday, 28 February
2021 at 11:00 AM followed by Cremation at the Kombayamanal Hindu Cemetery.
