Mrs. Dhanalakshmi Somasundaram, who was born in Rasavin Thoddam, Karainagar, Jaffna, and lived in Kalapoomi, Karainagar, Jaffna, and recently lived in Thriunelvely, Jaffna, passed away and was embraced by God on Saturday August 01, 2020.
She is the beloved daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Veerakathi Arumugam Subramaniam and
Sithamparam,
Loving daughter in law of the late Mr. and Mrs. Kanthappar Vaithilingam and Rasammah,
Beloved wife of the late Mr. Vaithilingam Somasundaram (Teacher),
Ever loving mother of Thanabalasingam Somasundaram (Teacher; Royal College, Colombo),
Mrs. Vijayalakshmi Muruganantham and the late Mahalakshmi Somasundaram,
Loving mother in law of Sivasambu Murugananthan (Owner; Muruganantham Stores, Jaffna),
Kind and loving sister of the late Packiyam, Parameswary, Sangarapillai, Arumugam, Indrany
and Kandasamy,
Affectionate grandmother of Shobitha, Showmiya, Akshaya and Vaishnavi.
Her Funeral and Final Rites will be conducted on Sunday, August 02, 2020 at around 10:00 AM
at her residence at No. 185 Brown Road, Jaffna, followed by Cremation at the Kokuvil Hindu Cemetery.
