Dr. Chinniah Velummylum, who was born in Alvai, Jaffna, and lived in Pereira Lane, Wellawatte, Colombo, passed away peacefully and was embraced by God on Monday, 16 August 2021.
He is the beloved son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Chinniah and Annapillai,
Loving son in law of Mr. Velummylum (Retired Teacher) and Sinnathangam,
Beloved husband of Maheswary (Mano),
Ever loving father of Mathyalagan (Engineer, UK), Nandakumar (IT, UK), Jeyakumar (Nurse,Austria), Rajkumar (IT Consultant, UK), Dr. Vijayakumar (Sri Lanka), Thevakumar (Abbey Accident, UK) and Subhashini (UK),
Loving Atthan of Ranji Manoharan,
Loving brother in law of the late Manoranjith,
Kind and Loving uncle (Mama) Shyamala, Shobana, Maria, Dilani and Dr. Iresha,
Loving uncle (Periyappah) of Binthia, Livinthia, Dinesh, Romesh, Malathi and Shankar,
Affectionate grandfather of Nirosha, Lakshan, Niharshan, Narthana, Jeya, Janani, Emmanuel, Sharon, Janarthani, Vithusha and Vithunan.
His funeral and final rites functions were conducted on Tuesday, 17 August 2021 at around 8:00 AM.
