Dr. Nagarathinam Vimalakanthan, who was born in Sivanadivasa Chanthai, Udupiddy, Jaffna and lived in New Chemmani Road, Nallur, Kalviyankadu, Jaffna, passed away peacefully and was embraced by God on Friday, 27 August 2021.
He is the beloved son of the late Sivaguru Nagarathinam and Jegathavajegasothy,
Beloved husband of Vimalakanthan Uthayakumari,
Ever loving father of K. Jeyapratha, Dr. Thanushan (Kidney Surgeon, UK), Dylakshan (Commercial Bank) and Yutharshan (Regional Manager, Abans),
Loving father in law of Kannan (Senior Lecturer, Agricultural Faculty),
Affectionate grandfather of Varsha and Aniksha,
Kind and loving brother of Jegathguruthas (Retired, Pharmacist, Jaffna Teaching Hospital),
Jeganmohanathas (Retired Artist) and the late Anandakumar Naganandini,
Also the loving brother of the late Sathasivam Sivasaravanabava,
Loving son in law of the late Ponniah Navaratnasingam and Navaratnasingam Mahalakshmi.
