Mr. Elaiyathamby Rasanayagam, who was born in Kadduvan, Jaffna and lived in Sandilipay, Jaffna, passed away peacefully and was embraced by God on Tuesday, 05 October 2021.
He is the beloved son of the late Elaiyathamby and Thangamuthu,
Loving son in law of the late Valumayilum and Sellatchi,
Beloved husband of Parameswary,
Ever loving father of Rasalingam,
Loving father in law of Shantharubi,
Affectionate grandfather of Vaishnavi and Sriramanan,
Kind and loving brother of Nagendram (deceased), Ariyanayagam (Retired MLT, Athura Clinic, Batticaloa) and Selvanayagam (Retired Doctor, Karuna Clinic, Chankanai),
Loving brother in law of the late Mylvaganam, Theivanaipillai and Thangavelayutham, and also of Valliammai, Sivapathasundaram (Retired Assistant Surveyor Superintendent), Thavadevi, Veeravagu (Unilanka Tea Traders, Colombo), Puvaneswary, Menaka, Kamaladevi (deceased) and Sarojinidevi,
Loving uncle (Periyappah) of Malarvili, Kayalvili, Kalayini, Muhunthan, Balamurali, Balakaruna, Balajeevan, Kalaimagal, Aravinthan and Jeyanthan,
Caring uncle (Chiththappah) of Ganeshamoorthy, Sathiyamoorthy, Vimaladevi and Shanthamoorthy,
Affectionate uncle (Mama) of Thayaparan, Raguparan, Bavani, Kiruparan, Jeyamohan, Jeyageethan and Jeyaragan.
His funeral and final rites functions will be conducted on Wednesday, 06 October 2021, at around 9:00 AM followed by cremation at the Kombayanmanal Hindu Cemetery.
