Mrs. Yogasoundhari Elaiyathamby, who was born in Thanneerutu, Mullaithivu, and lived in Avarangal, Jaffna, passed away peacefully at Thanneerutu, and was embraced by God on Friday, 23 July 2021.
She is the beloved eldest daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Kanapathipillai and Nagammah of Thanneerutu,
Loving eldest daughter in law of Mr. and Mrs Velupillai and Theivanai of Sivan Kovilady, Putthur, Avarangal,
Beloved wife of the late Mr. Velupillai Elaiyathamby (Retired, CTB Depot Manager, Mullaithivu),
Ever loving mother of Dr. Anushya (Colombo) and Ajantheepan (Canada),
Loving mother in law of Dr. Sutharshan (Colombo) and Archana (Canada),
Kind and Loving sister of Jegasoundhari (Teacher) (deceased), Jegatheeswaran (Paran) and the late Susheeladevi,
Loving sister in law of Kasipillai Thambinathan (deceased), Kandasamy (Retired Deputy AuditorGeneral), Sivasundaram (Retired Tax Assessor, London), Sothinathan (Retired Teacher, Thanneerutu), Tharmarajah (Thanneerutu, deceased), and Thavamanidevi (Thanneerutu),
Also the loving sister in law (Sahaly) of Nageswary (Colombo) and Aruleswary (London),
Loving aunty (Mami) of Kanagasivam (UK), Kanageswary (Avarangal), Yogasivam (UK) and Rajasivam (Swiss),
Affectionate grandmother of Adchaya, Arunja (Colombo), Arojika and Akash (Canada).
Her funeral and final rites functions will be conducted on Friday, 23 July 2021, at around 05:00 PM at Thanneerutu.
