Mrs. Thangammah Erambamoorthy, who was born and lived in Meesalai West, Jaffna, passed away and was embraced by God on Saturday, 12 February 2022.
She is the beloved wife of A. K. Erambamoorthy (Sangeethapooshanam),
Ever loving mother of Krishnakumari (Retired, Managerial Assistant, Regional Educational Secretariat, Southern District), Ilango (Ayurveda Doctor, Swiss), Geethavalli, Punithakumari (Music Teacher Consultant, Regional Educational Secretariat, Southern District), Vimalakumari (Dance Teacher, Thirunavukarasu Central College, Kodikamam) and Ilamurugan (Software QA Consultant, UK),
Kind and loving sister of Sellammah (Canada), the late Nallathamby, Thamotharampillai, Nallammah and Krishnasamy,
Loving mother in law of Vithiyananthan, Jeyalakshmi, Eelanesan, Vanitha and the late Sriravikulan,
Affectionate grandmother of Barathan (Barathan Studio, Meesalai), Visahan (Technical Officer, Irrigation Department), Sorubini, Ragavan, Vanathi (Head of Cultivation of Medical Plants, Swiss), Athavan (Swiss), Seyone (Agricultural Department, Kilinochchi), Vitthahi (Art Faculty, Jaffna University), Giriparan (Engineer, Singapore), Janarthanan (Sri Lanka Insurance Corporation, Chavakachcheri), Sribranavan, Akshathan and Athithyan.
Her funeral and final rites functions will be conducted at her residence at “Kanthagiri”, Meesalai West, Meesalai, on Sunday, 13 February 2022 followed by cremation at around 01:00 PM, atthe Vembrirai Hindu Cemetery.
