Mrs. Gnanapoongothai Vairavipillai, who was born and lived in Sarasalai South, Chavakachcheri Jaffna, passedaway peacefully and was embraced by God on Wednesday, 23 June 2021.
She is the beloved youngest daughter of the late Kanapathipillai (former President, Sarasalai Village Council) and Annalakshmi,
Loving daughter in law of the late Sinnathamby and Muthupillai of Avarangal,
Beloved wife of the late Mr. Vairavipillai (Retired Principal),
Kind and Loving sister of the late K. Maheswaran (former Principal, Chavakachcheri Hindu College) and the late Gnansounthari Kandiah (Atchuvely),
Ever Loving mother of Saroja (Canada), Sarveswary (Malaysia), Sathiyavathy (Teacher, Meesalai
Veerasingam Central College), Sivakumaran (Director, Data Analytics, UK), Vijayakumaran
(Principal, Saivaprakasa Vidyalayam) and Nandakumar (Colombo),
Loving mother in law of Jegatheeswaran (Canada), Rajendran (Malaysia), Ravikumar (Teacher,
Jaffna Hindu College), Rajini (UK), Subanthini (Teacher, Kodikamam Thirunvukarasu Central
College) and Dharshini (Colombo),
Caring cousin sister of the late Naguleswaran and Jegatheeswaran, and also of Sunthareswaran,
Sathananthan and Sithananthan,
Loving sister in law of the late Sabapathypillai, Rasammah, Yogambal and Sivakamasundari, and
also of Yogadevi, Sarojinidevi, Indra and Gowri,
Affectionate grandmother of Karthika (Canada), Dharshika (UK), Sivanujan (UK), Varagi (UK), Dwaragi (Student; Chavakachcheri Hindu College), Visakan (Canada) and Gajan (UK).
Her funeral and final rites functions were conducted on Wednesday, 23 June 2021 in Sarasalai.
