Gnanapragasam Nicholas ‘Nick’ ‘Indran’ Selventhiran, beloved husband of Terrencia 'Terry' Selventhiran, passed away at the age of 73 in Connecticut, USA on September 15, 2025.
Indran was born August 11, 1952 in Mirusuvil, Sri Lanka to the late Gabrielpillai and Mariapillai Gnanapragasam.
Indran was a loving and devoted father to Sharlini Selva
Faithful father-in-law to Tyler Andreozzi.
In addition to his parents (Jaffna, Sri Lanka), he was preceded in death by his parents-in-law Saverimuthu and Cecilia Anthonypillai (Jaffna, Sri Lanka).
Indran was a devoted brother to his siblings, (late) Dr. G.M. Selvakone and (late) Sathiajothi, (late) G.F. Selvarajah, Selvamalar and (late) V.A. Manokararaj, Dr. G.A.J. Selvanathan and Dr. Ester, and Selvarathy and S.J. Alakakone.
Loving brother-in-law of Jacintha and Dr. Navaratnasingam Mohanraj, Neilia and Dr. Milroy Emmanuel, Rajitha and (late) Thirunavukkarasu Ganeshan, Benita and (late) Paul Thambiaiyah Sivakumaran, Pastors Sherina and David Thiriloganathan (Canada), Marina and Joseph Thurainayagam, Nila and Rajan Anthonypillai, and Priya and Karthi Vytheswaran.
Adored Uncle to Suhanya, Dr. Meera, Jude, Ellango, Ahilan, Dr. Parthiban, Drs. Dinesh and Nirupa and he will be sorely missed by his nieces and nephews,
Beloved uncle to Drs. Amirthi, Mirnalini, Sharmila; Romala, Drs. Neelmini and Pamela, Adrian; Shantha and Dr. Senthilraj; Joseph and Dharshini; Joshua and Zaneta; Jehan; Ryan, Dylan, and Serena; Ashwini and Inesh.
