It is with heartfelt sorrow that we announce the passing of Mr. Gopalan Seenithamby, aged 62, on April 2, 2025, at Clara Maass Medical Center.
He was born on March 26, 1963 in Munaithivu, Batticaloa, Sri Lanka to the late Seenithamby and Kanagammah,
Back home in Sri Lanka, he was the proud owner of Indira Jewelry, a business that reflected their passion for craftsmanship and their commitment to serving the community.
Through their jewelry shop, Gopalan touched the lives of many, leaving a legacy of both beautiful creations and enduring friendships.
Gopalan is survived by his wife, Komaladevi Nagalingam; children, Manoja Gopalan (Rameswaran Nadarasa), Renokanthan Gopalan (Bhiravi Nadarajah), Priyatharshan Gopalan (Sindhujha Priyatharshan) and Mithurjan Gopalan; siblings, Vishualingam, Rasamani and Valliyammai; and his brother of Shanmuga Das, Jeevarasa, Kalaimathi; and his uncle of Kintuja, Subhanuja, Vidhujan, Nidarshana, Prishan, Jamisha, Kanishka, Dakshayini, Jashviniya, Rukshan; and his grandchildren, Mithran and Durga.
Their love and influence will live on in the lives of those they left behind.
