Date of Birth: 25 January 1937 - Deceased: 29 May 2021
Mr. Ilaiyathamby Kailayanathan, who was born in Moolai, Jaffna and lived in Colombo, passed away peacefully at his residence and was embraced by God on Saturday, 29 May 2021.
He is the beloved son of the late Mr. Ilaiyathamby (Attorney at Law) and Mrs. Sivanesathevi,
Loving son in law of the late Mr. Ehamparanathan (Attorney at Law) and Mrs. Sivapackiyam,
Beloved husband of Pushparani (Malar),
Kind and Loving brother of Krishnarajah (Kilinochchi), the late Somaskanda and Thiyagarajah,
Loving brother in law of Ithayarani, Sarathadevi, Vijayasundari, Vivekavathy, Rajanathan, Yogarani, Baskaradevi, Kanagasabanathan, Rukmanidevi and Nirmaladevi,
Also the loving brother in law (Sahalan) of Yogaratnam, Saraswathy, Nadarajan, Narendran,Varathalakshmi, Arumugam and Kanapathipillai.
Affectionate uncle (Periyappah) of Mekala, Rajkumar, Ravikumarn, Prashanthy, Mathanakumara, Sharmishda, Gayathri, Karunya, Gananathan, Vinothini and Kalaivani,
Loving uncle (Chiththappah) of Vivekaratnam, Yogavathy, Yogadevi, Vivekananthan, Yogaranjitham, Sivakumar Ganeshkumar Saratha, Nandakumar Ravindrakumar, Uma, Easwary, Balagowri and Narendranathan,
Caring uncle (Mama) of Aravinthan, Shyama and Meera.
His funeral and final rites functions will be conducted in Colombo on Sunday, 30 May 2021.
