Mrs. Ponnammah Iyathurai, who was born in Kachchai, Jaffna, and lived in Meesalai East, Jaffna, passed away and was embraced by God on Sunday, 29 November 2020.
She is the beloved daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Sinnathamby and Sellachi,
Beloved wife of the late Mr. Manickam Iyathurai,
Ever loving mother of Pathmadevi, Pathmanathan (France), Vimaladevi, Kamaladevi (Germany),
Naguladevi, Sakunthaladevi (Canada), Punithavathy (Denmark), Thilagavathy (England), Balakrishnan (Germany), Yoganathan (Swiss) and Bagavathy (Italy),
Loving mother in law of Thambiah, Rajeswary, Vinayagamoorthy, the late Kathiravel, Thirunavukarasu and Paranthaman, and also of Thayaparan, Sriharan, Niranjini and Manoharan,
Kind and Loving sister of the late Sellammah and Nallammah,
Loving sister in law of the late Sivapackiyam and Annapooranam (Canada),
Affectionate grandmother of all the loving grandchildren,
Dearly loving great grandmother of the great grandchildren, and Also the cherished great great grandmother of those ever loving great great grandchildren.
Funeral and final rites will be conducted at her daughter Vimala’s residence on Sunday, 29 November 2020, followed by Cremation at the Chavakachcheri Hindu Cemetery.
