He is the beloved grandson of the late Gopalapillai and Parasakthy couple, and Balachandran and Arulammah couple,

Beloved husband of Kokila,
Kind and loving brother of Dr. Balachandar, Prashanthi and Abhirami,
Loving brother in law of Shobhana,
Ever loving uncle (Periyappah) of Rihan and Vihan,
Loving nephew of Kuganesan (deceased), Thamaraichelvi (Canada), Sivakumaran, Chithrakala (Canada), Kumarguruparan, Kavitha (France), the late Sivakumari and Kirubanithi, and also of Gnanasekharan and Nalayini,
Affectionate nephew (foster son) of Ramakrishnan, Selvanayaki (deceased), Krishnakumari,
Panchadcharam, Radhakrishnan, Saroshadevi, Nandakumar, Lalitha, Balakrishnan, Kalaiarasi,
Mahalakshmi, Sivarajah, Shanmugaratnam, Shyamala, Arumairatnam and Priyadharshini.
