Mrs. Kalavani Kugan, who was born and lived in Sirupiddy, Jaffna, passed away peacefully and was embraced by God on the day before yesterday, Thursday, 25 November 2021.
She is the beloved eldest daughter of the late Paramesaran and Kalanithy,
Loving daughter in law of the late Atputhanathan and Maheswary,
Beloved wife of the late Kugan,
Ever loving mother of Sujanan (Student, Jaffna Hindu College),
Kind and Loving sister of Jeyakanthan (T.O., Town Council, Point Pedro), Kalaiarasi, Kalaichelvi,
Thayaparan (T.O., RDA, Point Pedro) and DIneshkumar (Wildlife Department),
Loving sister in law of Bamalojini (RDHS), Balakrishnan, Vimalarajan (deceased), Sujitha, Jegatheesan, Rameswaran (C.T.B), Jegajini (Teacher, V/Rambaikulam Maha Vidyalayam) and Ajantha (Nursing Officer, General Hospital, Poonahari),
Loving aunty (Aththai) of Akshan, Prajith, Mathumira, Listhika and Lipikshan,
Affectionate aunty (Periyammah) of Abhishana, Kowshikan and Nirushana,
Loving niece (foster daughter) of Arunthavanesan, Karunanithi and Vaithiyanathan - Ananthanithi couple,
Caring cousin sister of Navajeevan, Sangeetha, Rajivithan, Kasthuri and Tharahulan.
Her funeral and final rites functions will be conducted at her residence on Sunday, 28 November 2021, at around 10 AM, followed by cremation at the Sirupiddy Hindu Cemetery.
