Mr. Kanagaratnam Arasaratnam, who was born in Putthar Kerniyady, Karainagar, Jaffna, and lived in Grandpass, Colombo, passed away peacefully and was embraced by God on Wednesday, 29 December 2021.
He is the beloved son of the late Kanagaratnam and Ponnukandu,
Loving son in law of the late Sellathurai and Annamuthu (Annamalar Stores),
Beloved husband of Ponmalar (Canada),
Ever loving father of Shamini (UK), Suranjan (Canada) and Inthujan (Canada),
Loving father in law of Lavanathan (UK) and Sulojini (Canada),
Affectionate grandfather of Shaksha, Shatchin and Shimhai, all of the UK,
Kind and loving brother of Maheswary Thevarajah (Kitchi),
Loving brother in law of Sivamalar, Parameswaran (Chandran) and Vigneswaran (Vicky), all of Canada.
His funeral and final rites functions will be conducted from around 01:00 PM to 02:00 PM on Friday, 31 December 2021 at the Kanatte Cemetery in Borella followed by cremation.
