Mr. Kanagasabapathy Kanagasooriyam, who was born in Manipay, Jaffna and lived in Iyanarkerni, Trincomalee passed away peacefully and was embraced by God on Wednesday, 30 March 2022.

He is the beloved son of the late Kanniya Kanagasabapathy and Sugirthamalar.

Loving son in law of the late Sivapragasam and Nagapackiyam.

Beloved husband of Sivakamasundari.

Ever loving father of Vishalini and Pavithra.

Loving father in law of Jeyananth and Vithi Ananth.

Kind and loving brother of Kanagathas (deceased), Kanagamalar, Kanagathungam (deceased), Kanagamani, Kanagarani, Kanagaraj, Kanageswary, Kanagasundari, Kanagavathana, Selvanayagi and Yogendran.

Loving brother in law of Thangamani (deceased), Rajasingam, Selvarani, Yogarani (deceased), Longeswaran, Tharmalingam, Rajamanoharan, Prabaharan, Sivanageswary, Sivayogeswary, and the late Sivapathasundaram, Sivanesan and Sivagnaneswary.

Affectionate grandfather of Rahul and Siddarth.

His funeral and final rites functions will be conducted at his residence at No. 15, Iyanar Kerni Lane, at around 10:00 AM on Saturday, 02 April 2022, followed by cremation at the Trincomalee Hindu Cemetery.
