Mr. Kanagasingam Mahendran, who was born in Vathiry, Jaffna, and lived in Valvetty, Colombo, London and Canada, passed away peacefully and was embraced by God on Saturday, 13 March 2021.
He is the beloved son of Mr. Kanagasingam (Chelliah School, Founder -Vadamaradchi Central Girls College, and Judge – Village Court), and Mrs. Parupatham,
Loving son in law of the late Mr. and Mrs. Ponnuthurai and Visaladchi of Valvetty,
Beloved husband of the late Rathinapoopathy,
Ever loving father of Jeyanthi (Rosa), Jeyakumar (Jeyam), Jeyananthan and Jeyendran (Indran –UK),
Kind and loving brother of the late Pararajasingam, Ponnuthurai, Arumugam, Parameswaran and Theivendran, and also Sivakamasundari,
Loving brother in law of the late Sivakolunthu, Meenadchi, Kayilayanathan, Kathiravelpillai,
Sothysundaram, Sivapackiyam and Rasapoopathy, and also of Maragatham,
Loving father in law of Nanthamalavan (Arul), Saroja, Jeyanthini and Bharathy,
Affectionate grandfather of Jeyananthan (Nishanthan), Thanusha, Harishan, Gopishan, Niroshan, Veena, Tharini, Sharmika, Rashmika, Jeshmika, Premika, Veenashri, Suthan and Lishani,
Dearly loving great grandfather of Kayilan and Kavin.
Due to Corona restrictions, the funeral and final rites functions will be conducted with only those who registered their attendance early.
Those who are unable to attend the functions in person can view the functions through ‘Live
Streaming’. We deeply regret our inability to provide the facilities to attend the functions in person.
