Mr. Kanapathipillai Sellathurai, who was born in Sarasalai North, Jaffna and lived in Avarangal West, 10 th Milepost, Jaffna, passed away peacefully and was embraced by God on Wednesday, 05 January 2022.
He is the beloved son of the late Kanapathipillai and Sivapackiyam,
Loving son in law of the late Sinnathamby and Sinnammah,
Kind and loving brother of the late Tharmalingam (Lingam Silk House, Jaffna), Thangammah and
Indradevi, and also of Saraswathy, Kamaladevi and Amirthalingam (Canada),
Beloved husband of Nithiyananthabavani (Saratha),
Ever loving father of Dharshini (Swiss), Gajan (Sothy Textiles), Vethaki, Sutharshini (Canada),
Umaipalan (Uma) and VIshnurasa,
Loving father in law of Sriharan, Kugananthi, Muhunthan, Rajakanthan (Canada), Prabalini and Dharshika,
Affectionate grandfather of Sharaniyan, Shakithya, Kaviya, Vaishnavan, Kowshikan, Thanshika, Abhiram, Athanja, Pavira and Shabinash,
Loving brother in law of Sivakumar (deceased), Pathmavathy, Satchithananthabavani, Someswary, Somaranjini, Vanitha, Vivekananthan, Ananthamohanthas, Thamayanthy, and the late Rajeswaran and Maheswaran.
His funeral and final rites functions will be conducted at his residence tomorrow, Thursday, 06 January 2022, at around 1:30 PM, followed by cremation at the Karathady Hindu Cemetery in Avarangal.
