Mr. Kanapathipillai Ulaganathan, who was born in Madathuveli, Punguduthivu, Ward No. 8, Jaffna, and lived in Mulliavalai, Mullaithivu, passed away peacefully and was embraced by God on Saturday, 11 December 2021.

He is the beloved son of the late Kanapathipillai and Nagammah,
 
Loving son in law of the late Arumugam and Kamalam,
 
Beloved husband of the late Thilagavathy,
 
Ever loving father of Ketheeswary (Sugi), Pathmaseelan (Appan), Suvaneswary (Swarna),
Punniyalogeswary (Selvi) and Guruseelan (Jegan),
 
Kind and loving brother of the late Gopalapillai (Ambal Café, Mullaithivu), Mangayarkarasi, Parameswary (Colombo), the late Punniyamoorthy and Ledchumanan (Germany),
 
Loving father in law of Suthanandini, Ravindran, Krishnakumar and SIvashini.
Loving brother in law of the late Puvaneswary -Nagesu (New Ambal, Mullaithiv), Perampalam - Vigneswary (Germany), the late Paramalingam and Kanagalingam, and also of Punithavathy (UK), the late Mahalingam, Pushpavathy (Denmark), Sornavathy (Colombo) and the late Gnanalingam and Pathmalingam. Also the brother in law (Sahalan) of the late Balasubramaniam, Pushpavathy, Manonmani, Selvarajah, Vasanthi, Johnmeadows, Mallika and Nilani,
 
Affectionate grandfather of Janathan, Janupriya, Babisha, Divisha, Ashmina, Athirya, Dishan, Kershone, Deeran, Vashni, Mathini and Hashwini,
 
Dearly loving great grandfather of Ahara.
 
His funeral and final rites functions will be conducted at his residence, at around 10:00 AM, on Sunday, 12 December 2021, followed by cremation at the Mulliavalai Hindu Cemetery.
