Mrs. Parameswary Kandiah, who was born in Malaysia, and lived in various places including,Vasavilan, Colombo, Vavuniya, and lately in Jaffna, passed away, and was embraced by God on Saturday, September 26, 2020.
She is the beloved wife of Dr. Kandiah,
Beloved daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Ilagupillai and Ponnupillai,
Loving daughter in law of the late Mr. and Mrs. Ramupillai and Sinnathangam,
Ever loving mother of Kathirgamanayaki (Engineer, South Africa), Anandakumar (Engineer,Australia), Yoganayaki (Jaffna), Shyamlanayaki (London), Vijayakumar (Abu Dhabi) and Senthilnayaki (Australia),
Loving mother in law of the late Kanagaratnam (Lecturer, South Africa), Irani (Australia) Sivakumar, the late Sathiyananthan (London), Ranjini (Abu Dhabi) and Vithurasundaram (Engineer, Australia),
Kind and Loving sister of Kamalambigai, Sangarapillai, the late Nagaratnam, Sivagnanasundarampillai, Kumaraswamipillai and Balasingam,
Loving sister in law of Maheswary, Manonmani, the late Tharumathurai, Saraswathy, Sivapackiyam, Thangamuthu, Nallammah and Somasundaram,
Also the loving sister in law (Sahaly) of Annalakshmi,
Affectionate grandmother of Lakmiharan – Meriam, Lambotharan – Janaki, Aiyngaran- Maria,
Lakshmilojini- Sekan, Abhirami, Abarnabarathy, Rajanthi- Ilangkumaran (Attorney at Law),
Jamuna- Ramesh, Charismar, Shobitha- Nav, Sangeetha – Arj, Sarumathi, Prashani, Mathushani,
Abayashankar- Alicia, and Nimalan,
Fondly loving great grandmother of Ayden, Amaya, Anjali, Dharshan, Jeyavarini, Sathyagi, Mahil
and Rubi.
Her funeral and final rites were conducted at her residence on Monday, September 28, 2020, and then her remains were taken for Cremation to the Kombayanmanal Hindu Cemetery.
