It is with great sadness we announce untimely passing of Kandiah Pratheepan (Kunchan) on April 29, 2023. Born in Nelliady, Sri Lanka, Kunchan spent his recent years residing in Cypress, California.


He was cherished son of Ponniah Kandiah and Vasanthakumari, both from Sri Lanka, and son-in-law of late Sittampalam Suntharalingam and Mangaleshwari, also from Sri Lanka.

Kunchan is survived by his devoted wife, Neeraja, and their two adoring children, Mithran and Aahavi. He leaves behind a loving family that includes his siblings Mehala (Canada), Tharmila (Sri Lanka), and Prasanthan (Sri Lanka); his brother-in-laws, Thavendiran and Sivakumar; and his dear nieces and nephews, Tharun, Nitheesh, Biranavi, and Ashmitha.
