Mr. Kandiah Rasanayagam, who was born in Nallur, Jaffna, and lived in Urumpirai, Jaffna, Montreal, Canada, and Colombo passed away peacefully and was embraced by Lord Shiva on Sunday, 15 August 2021.
He is the beloved son of the late Kandiah and Annapillai,
Loving son in law of Kulasegarampillai and Annapooranam,
Beloved husband of the late Sothy,
Kind and loving brother of Mangayarkarasi, Kanaganayagam (deceased) and Mahadevi,
Ever loving father of Gayathri, Anuradha and Layisha,
Loving father in law Paraneetharan, Ganesh and Chandratheepan,
Affectionate grandfather (Thaatha) of Lakshaya, Rubeesh, Yathush, Lakithya and Branesh,
Loving brother in law of Mirukandu (deceased), Vasantharani, Kulamani and Sureshkumar,
Cherished uncle (Mama) of Thaboranjini,
Loving uncle (Periyappah) of Gowthaman, Ragulan and Baheerathy,
Caring uncle (Chiththappah) of Subhajini, Shanthini, Kumuthini, Balambigai and Vasanthan.
