Mrs. Nageswary Kathiravelu, who was born in Veemankamam North, Jaffna, and lived in
Colombo, Sydney – New Castle, and later in Kantharmadam, Jaffna passed away and was
embraced by God on Wednesday July 01, 2020.
She is the beloved daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Ponnambalam and Rukumani,
Loving daughter in law of the late Mr. and Mrs. Appukuddy and Selladchi,
Beloved wife of the late Mr. Kathiravelu (Engineer, Australia),
Ever loving mother of Srirangan (Retired Principal, Mahajana College Old Student),
Dr. Yalini (Mahajana College, Old Student), Sritharan (Engineer, Australia, Mahajana College
Old Student), Kamalini (Chemical Engineer, Union College Old Student), Srimuhunthan (France,
Union College Old Student), Sivajini (Accountant, Australia, Union College Old Student).
Loving sister of the late Nagendran (Teacher, London) and Nageswaran,
Kind sister in law of the late Pudkalathevi (Teacher, Union College Old Student), Valliammai,
Paranjothi and Manonmani,
Loving mother in law of Vanaja, Dr. Yogeswaran, Santhanalakshmi (Laboratory Technologist,
Australia), Manoharan (Executive Manager, Saudi Arabia), Amirtharanjini (France) and
Sathyalingam (Accountant, Australia),
Loving aunty (Aththai) of Mrs. Anurathai Kesavan (Teacher, Canada: Union College Old
Student).

Her Funeral and Final Rites functions will be conducted on Thursday, July 02, 2020 at around
2:00 PM, at her residence at 21/1 Kumaraswamy Road, Kantharmadam, followed by Cremation
at around 3:00 PM at the Kombayanmanal Hindu Cemetery.
