Mr. Kathiravelu Sellathurai, who was born in Siruvilan, Jaffna and lived in Alaveddy, Jaffna, passed away peacefully and was embraced by God on Monday, 08 November 2021.
He is the beloved son of the late Kathiravelu and Sellatchi,
Loving son in law of the late Vaithilingam and Kathirkasipillai,
Beloved husband of Mangayarkarasi,
Ever loving father of Urukumani (Sri Lanka), Pushparani (Swiss), Umapathy (Germany), Manoranjini (Sri Lanka), Vijayarani (USA), Jeyarani (Swiss) and the late Thavaranjan,
Kind and loving brother of the late Kandiah, Sellamuthu, Vairamuthu, Ponniah, Thangammah, Aiyathurai and Nagammah,
Loving father in law of Murugiah (deceased), Tharmakulasingam (Swiss), Yogeswaran (Germany), Ganesh (Sri Lanka), Gajanathan (USA), Koneswaran (Swiss) and Malini (London),
Loving brother in law of Nagammah (deceased) and Ambalavanar,
Affectionate grandfather of Vinotha, Mayuran, Vijitha, Mayura (deceased), Dharshini, Yalini, Nandini, Archana, Priyankan, Gajanthini, Kapilan, Kayuran, Gajanthan, Gajan, Anusha, Dylakshana and Dharshana,
Dearly loving great grandfather of Atchuthan, Archaya, Jinthuja, Hobinath, Gashwini, Mithin, Gajeepan, Sujeepan, Rashmika, Sayana, Vidya and Vivaha.
His funeral and final rites functions will be conducted at his residence located on Kooturavalar Road, Alaveddy East, at around 11:00 AM on Tuesday, 09 November 2021, followed by cremation at the Kiraddy Hindu Cemetery.
