She is the beloved eldest daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Shankaran and Valli,

Loving sister in law of Sinnathangam, the late Appakuddy, Navasi and Suppiah, and also of Selvarani, Southamini, Krishnan, Vasanthakumari, Rajani, the late Velan, Arumugam and Sithamparam, and also of Velliar,
Loving mother in law of Yoganathan, Pararajasingam, Gunasekaram, Jenithamathi and Pushpavathi,
Affectionate grandmother of Sujeetha -Gunaseelan, Sutharshana -Thileendran, Sumetha - Vimalakanthan, Mahinthini -Pratheepan, Mahinthan, Thanushan, Vapishan, Ahalya - Lakshmanasri, Ajantha -Pushparajah, Ajenthuran -Tharani, Ajivkanth -Abhirami, Nivetha, Suveth, Suyarshan, Ilakiya and Krithika,
Dearly loving great grandmother of Siyambavi, Bakavi,Vasavi, Thamira, Kavin, Varun, Vanathi,Priyanthini, Kesavapriyan, Thanushika, Akarshan, Athmika, Athvikan, Abhurva, Aparna, Apshara, Aburvan, Asmitha, Ashra and Atchuthan.
