He was an English Teacher at Vaitheeswara College, Jaffna; St. Thomas College Preparatory School, Colombo - 3; and Beaver International School, Colombo – 4.
Ever-loving husband of the late Catherine Rani (Retired English Teacher of Vembadi Girls' High School, Jaffna) Suntharalingam.
He was the son of the late Alice and late Edward Saravanamuttu (Retired Head-Master),
Son-in-law of the late Faith Sellamma and Alfred Catherasoo.
Loving father of Irene Suganthi (Sugi), Christa Preethi (Manju),
and the loving father-in-law of Astaire (Ranga) Arudpiragasam,
Deeply missed grandfather of Anita Shelomi and Ivan Andrew.
Affectionate brother of Margret Sellamma (Canada), late Anna Sugirtham, late Dr. Wesley Arulaiya, Stanley Devarajah (Batticaloa), late Jane Lalitha, and Hepsiba Vanitha (Batticaloa).
Beloved brother-in-law of late George Gopalasingam, late Vijayarajah, Jane Vasanthy (Batticaloa), late Stella Logananthaluxmi, Gnanapragasam(Batticaloa), Mary (Mathy- Toronto), Flora (Pillai- Australia), and Jeevamani (Jeevi- Montreal).
