Mr. Konniah Thiyagarajah, who was born and lived in Koiyathoddam, Jaffna, passed away, and was embraced by God on Thursday, 12 November 2020. He is the retired Chief Post Master, All Ceylon Justice of the Peace, former Treasurer- Sri Lanka Red Cross Society, former VicePresident of St. Patrick’s College Old Boys Association, former Treasurer AROD, formerPresident Koiyathoddam Welfare Society, President United Wealth Society, President -InnerZone Society, President, J/66 Senior Society, Member, Retired Officers Society.
He is the beloved son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Koniah and Maragatham,
Loving son in law of the late Mr. and Mrs. Saravanamuthu and Manonmani,
Beloved husband of the late Nagaratnambal,
Ever loving father of Jeganathan (former Engineer- Batticaloa Municipal Council, and UK), Jeyarani, Kugathasan (Business, Colombo), Jeyakumar (former Supervisor, KKS Cement Factory) and Jeyasothi,
Loving father in law of Selvanayaki (former Officer – Jaffna Municipal Council, and UK), Chinniah
(Retired Clerk, KKS Cement Factory), Geetha (Retired Personal Assistant – Ministry of Foreign
Affairs), Chandrakumari (France) and Jeyakumar (Retired Teacher, St. Patrick’s College, Jaffna)

His funeral and final rites functions will be conducted at his residence on Friday, 13 November 2020 at around 02:00 PM, and his remains will be taken to the Thundy Hindu Cemetery.
