Mr. Kumarasamy Sivathasan, who was born in Manipay, Jaffna, and lived in Colombo, passed away peacefully and was embraced by God on Tuesday, 08 March 2022.
He is the beloved son of the late Kumarasamy and Jeyalakshmi.
Beloved husband of the late Jegathambigai.
Ever loving father of Meera (USA), Muralitharan (Brisbane, Australia) and Manoranjan (Melbourne, Australia).
Loving father in law of Mohanakumar, Vinothini and Vishnupriya.
Kind and loving brother of Linganathan (deceased), Easwaranathan, Sivalojini Kumarathevan, Kugadasan (deceased), Meenalojini Senthilnathan, Jeyakumar, Jeyakumari Vivekanantha and Pathmalojini Poologasundaram.
Affectionate grandfather of Nishanthan, Nishitha, Sivangaran, Kirithana, Jeganya and Eashwar.
His remains will lie in state for viewing at the Mahinda Parlor in Wattala on Thursday, 10 March 2022, with funeral and final rites functions conducted at around 03:00 PM on Thursday, 10 March 2022, followed by Cremation at around 05:00 PM at the Keravalapitiya Cemetery.
