He was the beloved son of the late Mr. Sinniah Kumarasurier (Teacher) and the late Mrs. Rajaluxmi Kumarasurier (Kunjumani Teacher),
And the maternal grandson of the late Mr. Kulanthaivel Thuraiveerasingam and the late Mrs. Sellamma Thuraiveerasingam,
He was the loving husband of Jeyamalar Jeyanthan,
Son in law of the late Mr. Arunasalam Nadarajah and the late Mrs. Manonmani Nadarajah of Atthiyadi, Jaffna.
He was the beloved father of Janu Rajee Jeyanthan and Jeevan Jeyanthan,
And the dear brother of Dr. Jayanthy Gnananandan (London, UK) and Jey Surier (California, USA).
