Mr. Kumaravelu Navaratnam, who was born in Thambasiddy, Point Pedro, Jaffna, and lived in Pandarikulam, Vavuniya, and later in Toronto, Canada, passed away peacefully and was embraced by God on Thursday morning, 20 May 2021.
He is the beloved son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Kumaravelu and Nithiyaluxmi,
Loving son in law of Mr. and Mrs. Veerappu and Sinnapillai,
Beloved husband of the late Valliammai,
Ever loving father of Jeyaseelan, Nirmalananthan and Subarajan,
Loving father in law of Sugirtha, Priyadharshini and Kiruthiya,
Loving nephew of the late Nadarajah of Malaysia,
Kind and loving brother of Mallikavathy, Somavathy (deceased), Poovathy, Alagaratnam,Gunaratnam (deceased), Poomany and the late Tharumaratnam,
Loving brother in law of the late Kandiah and Velupillai, and also of Sellakunju, Mohana Panchalingam and Gangadevi,
Affectionate grandfather of Karthikeyan, Nilavan, Abhilash, Akash, Keeran, Sanjana, Pranav, Angajan and Thurga,
Loving brother in law of the late Suppiah and Subramaniam, and also of Kanagarajah, Amirtham, Rasamani (deceased), Annalakshmi (deceased), Annapoorani and Nageswary,
Loving cousin brother of Elaiyahtamby (deceased), Chelliah (deceased), Velu (deceased),Amarasingam, Pasupathy, Chandra, Yoga and Indrany,
Caring uncle (Mama) of Manoharana, Mahendran, Kiruba, Mangayarkarasi, Veni, Bavani, Bamini, Thulasi and Priya,
