He was the affectionate father-in-law of Piragalatha, Prakash, Saroja, Yogeswary and Baheerathan.
He was the loving grandfather of Nilesh, Thulasi, Piragith, Sagith, Varun, Mayoora, Vinoshan and Abishalini.
