Mr. Mahalingam Ganeshapillai, who was born and lived in Analaithivu, Ward No. 4, Jaffna, and later lived in Chennai, India passed away peacefully in Chennai and was embraced by God on Thursday, 20 May 2021.
He is the beloved son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Ganeshapillai and Punithavathy,

Beloved husband of Saraswathy,

Affectionate grandfather of Nithushan, Dinesh, Ayingaran (deceased), Pavithra, Sujithra, Thanisha, Chithara, Arasan, Avalina, Viyan, Aatheeran, Aliya and Aatharan,
Kind and loving brother of Arasaratnam (deceased), Ledchumi, Neethirajah, Nadarajah, Karunaharan, Panchalingam, Panchadcharam and Balasurian,

His funeral and final rites functions were conducted at his residence on Thursday, 20 May 2021, and his remains were cremated at the Poroor Hindu Cemetery in Chennai.
