Mrs. Mahesh Velauthapillai, who was born in Colombo, and lived in Vaddukoddai, Jaffna and later in Toronto, Canada, passed away peacefully in Canada and was embraced by God on Thursday, 27 January 2022.
She is the beloved daughter of the late Sabapathypillai (Retired Railway Station Master) and Nagammah,
Loving daughter in law of the late Kumarasamy and Ponnammah,
Beloved wife of the late Velauthapillai,
Ever loving mother of Sasikala (Mannar), Chandrika (Canada) and Suhama (Canada),
Loving mother in law of Sasitharan (Mannar), Sriranjan (Canada) and Balaraj Broodi (Canada),
Affectionate grandmother of Thanush, Shiromika, Priyanka, Kowshikan, Sripan and Adrian,
Dearly loving great grandmother of Akshiya,
Kind and loving sister of the late Singamapanar, Sivananthan, Puvaneswary and Vivekananthan,
Loving sister in law of Rajini, and the late Petha and Kalaranjitham.
