Mrs. Maheswary Karthigesu, who was born and lived in Soorawathai, Chunnakam, Jaffna, passed away peacefully and was embraced by God on Thursday, 27 January 2022.
She is the beloved daughter of the late Kanagasabai and Annapillai,
Loving daughter in law of Sinnathamby and Vallipillai,
Beloved wife of the late Karthigesu,
Ever loving mother of Kanageswary (Australia), Sarojinidevei, Premadevi, Gowridevi, Balachandran (London) and Rajadevi (Germany),
Loving mother in law of Vadivetpillai, Ratnanayagam (deceased), Subramaniam (deceased),
Tharmakulasingam, Yasotha and Sarveswaralingam,
Affectionate grandmother of Vetselvan, Arudselvi, Malini, Mathavan, Ragulan, Subhitha (deceased), Kavitha, Sugantha, Vijitha, Sivabrinthan, Sivaharan, Vimalraj, Vanaja, Nihashan, Gokuladasan, Abhirami, Amutha, Dinushan, Kirushan and Lathurshan,
Dearly loving great grandmother of Nalayini, Aron, Angela, Lavanya, Senthan, Saruhan, Jenani, Meera, Nila, Seyone, Anesh, Abhishanan, Akshana, Senthuran, Senthuya, Gayathri, Ragavan, Paveenthan, Akshaya, Ashwiya, Adcharan, Ajesh, Anush, Harish, Diyani, Tharuni, Abhivarshan, Abhishan and Abhikash,

Her funeral and final rites functions will be conducted at her residence at “Thangam Aham” in Soorawathai, at around 11:00 AM on Sunday, 30 January 2022, followed by cremation at the Kothiyalady Hindu Cemetery.
