Mrs. Maheswary Ledchumanan, who was born in Punguduthivu, Ward No. 10, Jaffna, and lived in Kotahena, Colombo, passed away peacefully and was embraced by God on Wednesday, 28 April 2021.
She is the beloved daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. M. K. Sinnappah and Pooranam,
Loving daughter in law of the late Mr. and Mrs. Chinniah Kanapathipillai and Sinnapillai,
Beloved wife of Mr. Kanapathipillai Ledchumanan (Retired Inland Revenue Tax Assessor),
Ever loving mother of Ilangovan (Secretary, Education Department, Northern Province), Ilamathy, Ilavarasi, Ilangkumaran and Ilamurugan,
Loving mother in law of Kirubahari, Satheesan, Gayathri and Mathuri,
Kind and Loving sister of the late Selvaratnam, Nagaratnam, Thanalakshmi, Vamadevan, Kanagalingam and Shanmugalingam, and also of Kamalambigai and Muthulingam,
Loving sister in law of S. K. Shanmuganathan,
Affectionate grandmother of Yathushan, Sentheepan, Mathusha, Prathisha and Kasini.
Her remains will lie in state for final tributes at the Jayaratne Funeral Parlour in Borella, on Thursday, 29 April 2021 from around 10:00 AM, with Funeral and Final Rites functions conducted at around 03:00 PM, followed by Cremation at the Borella Kanatte Cemetery at around 05:00 PM.
