Mrs. Mahilammah Kanapathipillai, who was born in Jaffna and lived in Soyzapura, Moratuwa and later in Wellawatte, Colombo passed away peacefully and was embraced by God on Saturday, 08 January 2022.
She is the beloved wife of Kandiah Kanapathipillai (Retired Principal),
Ever loving mother of Shailaja (UK) and Dr. Sairam (Orthopedic Surgeon, Anuradhapura General Hospital),
Loving mother in law of Prabananth (UK), Dr. Sivadharshini (Colombo National Hospital).
Her remains were kept for paying tributes at the Jayaratne Parlor in Borella, on Sunday, 09 January 2022 from 08:00 AM, with funeral and final rites functions conducted from 02:30 PM, followed by cremation at around 04:30 PM at the Kanatte Cemetery in Borella.
