Mr. Manickam Kanagasabapathy, who was born in Thinnapuram Sivan Kovilady, Karainagar, Jaffna and lived in Canada, and later in Neelipanthanai, Karainagar, Jaffna, passed away peacefully and was embraced by Lord Shiva on Thursday, 18 November 2021.
He is the former Grama Sevakha, Karainagar North, former Secretary of Manickavasagar Sabhai,
Karainagar, and Treasurer of the Old Students Union, Karainagar Hindu College, Canada,
He is the beloved son of the late Manickam and Sellammah,
Loving son in law of the late Kandiah and Sivamani,
Beloved husband of the late Manoranjana,
Ever loving father of Sathiyasorubi and Sathiyasivam, both of Canada,
Loving father in law of Theepan,
Loving brother in law of Thiyagalingam (UK), Tharmarajah (USA), Kanagarajah (Canada) and
Panchalingam (Canada),
Affectionate grandfather of Nila, Meera and Athi.
His funeral and final rites functions were conducted at his residence located in Neelipanthanai, Karainagar, at around 02:00 PM on Thursday, 18 November 2021, followed by cremation at the Sambalodai Hindu Cemetery.
