Mr. Manickam Shanmuganathan (Bava) (Director, Higher Education Centre, Ariyakulam Junction, Jaffna), who was born in Elalai West, Elalai, Jaffna, and lived in Sangarapillai Road, Anaikoddai, Jaffna, passed away, and was embraced by God on Saturday, September 26, 2020.
He is the beloved son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Manickam and Annammah.
Loving son in law of the late Mr. and Mrs. Rajaratnam and Vijayalakshmi.
Beloved husband of Arulnangai (Lecturer, Hindu Civilization)
Ever loving father of the late Santhuthan, and also of Thevasanthuthan and Thevasathveekan (Angel International English School).
Kind and loving brother of the late Sivamani (Sinhala and English Teacher), and also of Ramachandran, Ratnasingam (deceased), Thilagamani, Selvarajah (Higher Education Center), Pathmanathan (Director, College of Economics, Inuvil, Jaffna, BARATHI Education Centre, Siththankerni) and Mohana.
Loving brother in law of Balabaskaran (Higher Education Centre), Kamalambigai (France), Arulvel (deceased), Rajanangai (Teacher, J/Memorial English School), Senthilkumar (deceased), Suntharalingam (deceased), Gnanakolunthu (Retired Telecom Officer), Navamani (deceased), Navamanidevi, Vasantharani, Sasikala (Retired Commercial Bank Officer) and Rahini.
Also the brother in law (Sahalan) of Selvaranjan (France) and Sivapalan.
His funeral and final rites functions were conducted at his residence on Tuesday, September 29, 2020, followed by his final resting place at the Kakaitheevu Karaiyanpiddy Hindu Cemetery.
