Mrs. Manonmany Ponnampalam, who was born in Punguduthivu, Ward No. 10, Jaffna, and lived in Colombo, passed away peacefully and was embraced by God on Monday, 17 May 2021.
She is the beloved eldest daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Suppiah and Sellamuthu,
Loving daughter in law of the late Mr. and Mrs. Kathirgamar and Valliammai,
Beloved wife of Mr. Ponnampalam (Ambal Trading Co., Colombo 11),
Ever loving mother of Gnanasampanthar (deceased), Semmanachelvi, Navukarasan (Gokul Trading), Kalaimagal, Aarooran (Manons Cine Combines), Suntharamoorthy (Manon Traders) and Vathavooran (Associate Director- Finance, WSO2),
Loving mother in law of Rangarajah (deceased) (former Head Secretary, Northeastern Provincial Council), Shanthi (former Secretary, Ministry of Rehabilitation), Pushpakumari, Sutharshini and Naganadini,
Affectionate grandmother of Vipushana (Engineer), Aathirai, Tharun, Ashwini, Praveena, Pravith and Varun,
Kind and loving sister of Ganesh (deceased), Gunapalalakshmi, Varathalakshmi, the late Kandasamy, Kanagalingam and Saraswathy, and also of Mahadevan, Vadivelu and Nagalakshmi,
Loving sister in law of Muthuvelu, Sellamuthu, Thamotharampillai, Arumugam and Markandu.
Her remains will be cremated on Tuesday, 18 May 2021.
