An unassuming lady, a wonderful mother, grandmother, wife, daughter, sister, an aunt and a great aunt, she was born in Nallur, Jaffna, Sri Lanka and was living in Markham, Ontario, Canada.
She was fondly known as Mahes, Mahes Akka or Mahes Aunty to all her close family and friends and was well known and loved for her wonderful culinary skills and amazing hospitality.
She was the beloved wife of late Mr. Thambiah Ratnasabapathy,
Loving daughter of Illaiyathamby & Kanagamma,
Affectionate sister of the late Dr. Sivalingam (USA),
loving sister-in-law of late Mr. Thambiah Padmanathan (UK), late Mrs. Padmawathy Padmanathan (UK) and Mrs. Kamala Sivalingam (USA),
loving aunt of Mrs. Suthamathy Narendran (UK), Mr. Ragavan Padmanathan (USA), Dr. Arunan Sivalingam (USA), Dr. Varunan Sivalingam (USA) and Mrs. Vasuki Ewert (USA),
Beloved mother of Wimalan, Suren and Jeevan,
loving mother-in-law of Vibeesha, Tharshini and Kannama,
Affectionate in-law of Dr. & Mrs. Viswanathan (UK), Mr. & late Mrs. Chandrasekaram (USA) and late Mr. Carunakaran and Mrs. Nagaletchumie Carunakaran (Canada),
